MOOCI helps people affected by mucoviscidosis with reconstructive surgery
“I was captivated by the vision of Chris Müller and ATMOS from the first moment. ‘We are many!’ – following this slogan, I’m honored to support this cause. I personally consider the current incurability of mucoviscidosis an unacceptable condition which we will try to change together. At MOOCI, we have assembled an expert committee of reconstructive specialists who will offer follow-up care after operations on mucoviscidosis patients on a volunteer basis. With this collaboration, we want to return some enjoyment of life to the patients. We are connecting our networks with ATMOS, creating awareness for the shared goal of healing,” says Janis Jung, who founded MOOCI a year ago with Matthias Meleschnig. MOOCI is the first network of experts in aesthetic and reconstructive medicine which objectively reviews doctors in terms of education, experience and quality.
To guarantee the highest quality standards, MOOCI utilizes medical and legal information. Thanks to an intense collaboration with experts who are renowned all over the world and have many years of experience, MOOCI can satisfy the high patient demands and build trust through quality.
MOOCI thus offers an orientation aid and certified quality criteria in the search for appropriate doctors. The reconstructive treatment is designed particularly for people after a severe illness or an accident. “The treatments are external but they reach deep into the soul of the affected person. This way we try to restore a piece of ‘normality’. It helps them live life with self-confidence and strength again,” explains Janis Jung.
